Anthony Starke was born on June 6,1963 in Syracuse,New york. He lived there till he was five years old. Starke then moved to Pleasant Hill in the San Francisco Bay Area. Then at ten years old he moved again to Northern Illinois. He attended Antioch High School before graduating and going on to Marquette University where he was in the process of studing pre-law when he decided to switch to acting. Tony's first credited acting job was in First Steps (1985) (TV) in 1985.

His parents tried to discourage him from getting into showbiz by sending him articles of how often actors do not work--when he finally landed a movie of the week in Chicago, they became very supportive.

Mr. Starke currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Lolly, and their son Garrett.
